HardieWrap™ Weather Barrier Solution

Together, the siding and HardieWrap weather barrier work to form a major part of the protective building envelope.

Since IBC 2006, a water-resistive barrier is required for code compliance. HardieWrap weather barrier is a higher-performance, water-resistive barrier uniquely designed to protect homes and other buildings from the elements. When properly installed under James Hardie® fiber-cement siding, HardieWrap weather barrier provides an unmatched double line of defense against water damage, mold and air penetration. And, it comes with the name you and your customers associate with quality — James Hardie.

HardieWrap weather barrier can be specified for single-family homes, duplexes, town homes, multi-family homes and some light commercial buildings.
